T Day Countdown.
I wrote this post when I was 27 weeks pregnant with N.
I would love to be pregnant again, but it just doesn´t seem to be happening for some reason. It is hard. I never thought I would be one of those women that would have to worry about it. But, God has a plan and I am trying to be patient and know that HE is in control.
In the meantime, I will try to remember what it was like to be pregsters.
Ah, Thanksgiving. AKA the holiday I´ve come to dread since it´s non-existent here and I miss being with my family. Someday! In the meantime I thought I´d make a list of a few of the things I´m thankful for. Pretty standard really.
I´m Thankful for:
1. My Precious Lord and Savior for dying on the cross for me and giving me eternal life with Him. What an amazing gift. I can´t ask for much more.
2 . Antonio Luque Guijarro, whom without I´m not sure I could survive. It was fate that we met and since that moment I´ve never been the same. He brings a smile to my face on a daily basis and has the biggest, kindest heart of anyone I know. I´m SO thankful to be married to such a wonderful man and there is no doubt in my mind he´ll be an amazing daddy.
3.The beautiful little girl that´s growing inside of me. I´m so thankful to be able to feel her moving around and experience pregnancy. To feel your child within is unexplainable. Many women spend a lifetime wondering just what that feels like and we were lucky enough to get pregnant in five days. I´m looking forward to squeezing her and loving her for the rest of her life.
4. Family/friends. Parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. They are ALL totally crazy whack jobs........but I love them anyways and without them I wouldn´t be who I am today:O)
5. Our beautiful flat decorated exactly how we love it. It´s so cozy and I love coming home everyday.
6. Animals. I wish I could have one here, but my inlaws boxer Chiqui will have to do. She is the funniest dog around and she always makes me laugh. Dogs are the best.
7. Laughter. What would the world be like without it? There is no better feeling than laughing until you are in stitches and tears are streaming down your face. Now THAT is heavenly.
8. Hugs. I miss hugs. We do the double kiss thing here and it´s not the same.
9. Jobs. I like my jobs and I enjoy the people I meet on a daily basis.
10. Starbucks coffee in Sevilla. Tall mochas. Need I say more?

What a crock
So, this summer I got my teeth cleaned and x rayed and the dentist gave me a paper with five things that I supposedly needed done and it cost 4.500 dollars. He asked me when I would like to schedule the appointment?
Um, ya, let me get right on that. Are you insane? Do you think I have thousands of dollars laying around in my drawers?
So, I decided to just wait until I got back to Spain to get a second opinion.
That second opinion happened yesterday.
She did an exam, x rays and told me that she saw absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth.
How about them apples?

Gross
I can´t even believe I forgot to mention this, but yesterday I was walking to the gym and I always walk by a parking lot. It´s a busy parking lot with lots of people and lights and I saw a young guy standing in between two cars so there is no way I thought he was peeing in the middle of the day with people around. So, when I walked by I looked to see what he was doing. He was indeed peeing. And he flipped his wiener at me. It was so gross. I wish I would´t have looked. Ick. What´s wrong with people?! Why does everyone want to show me their wiener?!
School Sucks.
Guys,
Everyone warned me that the first year would be the worst. And it IS. My daughter is sick EVERY SINGLE WEEK. It´s horrible.
We were so spoiled in the fact that before she started school she was never sick. Never was on antibiotics, never had even a fever or ear infection.
Now, she´s on the 2nd antibiotic since school started. Fever, vomiting, second ear infection and strep.
AHAHA! Shoot me now!

I hope everybody had a fun Halloween.
Today N said. ¨Mommy, now that Halloween is over, after my nap it´s Christmas time?¨ I can´t even make this stuff up if I tried.
Yesterday she asked me ¨Mommy, why is your tummy so big?¨
My response; ¨Because I am fat¨.
Mommy you are not fat, you are beautiful!
hahaha
