Birthday Boy!

Yesterday my husband turned thirty nine yrs old. That´s weird!

We had a fun day filled with gifts, a yummy cake that I made and a nice dinner.

N had to help Daddy blow out the fire hazard that were his candles.

Where has May gone? Actually, where has this year gone?!

Thank the LORD above it has actually been crazy cool weather for Spain this time of year so I am loving the low 80s upper 70s. As far as I am concerned it can stay like this FOREVER. Yesterday, a little girl brought her adorable bunny LOLA to the park and luckily she was nice and let N hold her several times. ha!

I´m busy with work work  and more work. Last week was the busiest of my life with doctors apt for heel (still can´t figure out whats wrong) Laser hair removal session number 3 (I prefer giving birth it hurts THAT bad) and taking N to the doc for the zillionth time...possible urine infection. Never a dull moment!

Plus, did I mention we are moving..........down the street! So, we have to do all of these renovations and buy all the materials and that is just not fun for me. I wish I could snap my fingers and it would be done with.

Customer service is absolutely terrible here. I cannot tell you how many times a week I am in ANY kind of store and the two sales people are just CHIT CHATTING away and I´m like HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I was at Starbuck´s (surprise) and there was NO ONE ELSE in front of me. It took literally from the time I ordered until the drink was in my hand a good 15 minutes. WTF!

I ordered and then went down to where you pick up the drink and I was just standing there. For 15 minutes. Finally I said, ¨Can I get my drink!?¨  I do not know if they forgot about me or what. Just unacceptable and not normal!

I always want to say something clever like ¨menos hablar mas trabajar¨ but then I would just be an asshole, so I rage in silence.

It´s the American in me. Customer service. You rock at it USA. What can I say? I miss it.

There is A LOT going on in life now. 1. I think we are moving. Albeit down the street. Deets to come. 2. Had X ray on foot and have to go to doc tomorrow. 3. laser hair removal hurts a lot. and a lot more fun stuff! Exciting?!!!!!

Never a dull moment.

Life with a toddler keeps me on my toes. A few weeks ago her elbow popped out of socket and had to take her to doc to fix that. That same weekend her neck hurt one day and her stomach the next. Then it was smooth sailing. For about a week. I noticed something funky in her underwear. PINWORMS. It´s awesome when your daughter gets worms. Since then we all had to take medicine and be ¨de-wormed.¨ A and I took off for Barcelona to get away. We deserved it. I saw my best friend since she was there w her hubs AND now I don´t have to say. ¨I have never been to Northern Spain.¨ And. No worms!

So, the other day someone was asking me about N and what she´s like. I was thinking about that long and hard and I said: ¨If she is with a group of younger kids and one of them is crying.....99.9 percent it is because of her. Basically because she is huge for her age and tackles them instead of hugging etc.¨ ¨If she is with older kids and they are doing something naughty that they are not supposed to be doing....99.9 percent chance it´s because of her.¨ ¨If you came into the room with a frown and feeling sad and you left the room laughing. 99.9 percent chance it was because of her.¨ Gotta love her.
