Summer 2012

It really has been an amazing summer. I was reluctant even to come at first for many reasons 1. being schedule nazi but N was great in the airplane and she actually was on schedule the second day! Here is to hoping she does the same when we get back to Spain! It's been great though and my parents would have missed out on so much because N is so fun and funny at this age. We have seen more people than I thought we would and done more things than anyone should! Fun trips to Chicago and Indy not to mention zoos, parks, pools, and splashpads to boot. We leave on Monday and I always hate this last leg of the trip. Anxiety sets in and the not wanting to go back to Spain (because I miss all this) makes me nervous. However, such is life and we will be back hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks to all of our friends and family who have made this trip so amazing. I will always be a USA kinda girl. America, I salute you. ...and I miss you already.

Chi

I love Chicago! We always spend time there but we haven't the past few years since we had a baby on our hands. Yesterday we drove up there sans Nora Bell to shop until we dropped. The weather was so perfect and I just love being downtown...We..er, I should say I found some great deals and we had a lot of our friends that live in the area meet us for dinner. It was perfect! We were so exhausted on the drive home and were turning onto our street around 1:45 a.m. All of the sudden out of nowhere there was another car right behind me and I thought "who is that?!" Ya, it was a cop. I pulled into my driveway and he TURNED THE LIGHTS ON and had pulled me over for speeding. I mean, seriously? I made it all the way to Chicago and back and I get pulled over in my neighborhood?? I was so nervous and so tired I was certain he would think I was drunk. Thank GOD he just gave me a warning!

5 years!

5 years ago today I married my best friend! We just got done watching the wedding video (first time I´ve ever watched it) and man was I a hot mess during our ceremony. What a special time. I was just so emotional on my wedding day because it was just so special having ALL of friends in one room and friends I haven´t seen SINCE then. They are always in my heart. Love is in the air;)
